Travis County reported 318 new coronavirus cases June 24, bringing the total number of confirmations in the county to 6,914.

There were also two new deaths in the county, bringing the total to 116.

With 274 hospitalizations in the metropolitan area and an average of 43.4 new hospitalizations per day over the past week, Travis County health officials said June 24 that area hospitals are on track to exceed capacity by mid-July.

There have been 4,796 estimated recoveries in Travis County.
