Active coronavirus hospitalizations in the Austin metropolitan area reached its highest point ever June 10, with 104 individuals currently hospitalized within the five-county area.

Austin Public Health also reported 133 new coronavirus cases in Travis County on June 10, the third consecutive day with more than 100 confirmed cases. June 9 saw the county set a single-day record with 161 new cases, and the 118 cases confirmed June 7 also set a record at that time.

Overall there have been 4,109 total coronavirus cases in Travis County, while 99 individuals have died from the virus, and an estimated 3,248 have recovered, according to Austin Public Health.
