Austin Public Health reported two new coronavirus-related deaths June 3, while confirmed cases in Travis County climbed by 68, and recoveries increased by 84.

There have been a total of 3,501 coronavirus cases in the county and 95 deaths since the pandemic began locally March 13. An estimated 1,380 individuals have recovered from the coronavirus locally.

June 3 also saw Texas Gov. Greg Abbott lift additional coronavirus-related business restrictions, which will allow nearly all businesses to operate at up to 50% capacity.
