Dining options in the downtown Dripping Springs area are expanding, with the newest Golden Chick location opening near the intersection of Hwy. 290 and RR 12.
What’s on the menu
Golden Chick’s menu features a variety of chicken dishes such as wings, tenders, fried and roasted chicken, fried chicken sandwiches and chicken salad sandwiches. Other options include fried catfish and southern-style sides.
Additionally, the restaurant offers Family Meals and Party Paks for larger quantity options.
Meet the owner
Austin local Tariq Khan is the owner of the Dripping Springs location, along with two locations in the Austin area.
“We’ve been coming to Dripping Springs for years for youth baseball tournaments, and some of our favorite family memories were made here,” Khan said in a news release. “To now open a restaurant in this community and serve the families who make it so special means a great deal to us.”
