The brewery will release special beers, offer food deals, and host live music, family-friendly activities and local vendors.
The setup
On Nov. 7, Meanwhile Brewing will kick off the weekend event with a “Tribute to Austin and Texas,” featuring:
- A neighborhood party from 1-5 p.m.
 - Discounted drinks and food specials for guests with proof of living or working in the 78744 zip code
 - Live music by Gran Moreno from 7-8 p.m. and Llamativa from 8:30-10 p.m.
 
- Volleyball tournament beginning at 9:30 a.m.
 - Cake pop-up at noon by Future Bakery Cooperative
 - Vendor market featuring over 15 Austin artists from noon-5 p.m.
 - Record swap from noon-2 p.m.
 - Flash tattoo session with Slow Poke from 2-7 p.m.
 - Live entertainment from The Capitol from 6-7 p.m., Henry Invisible from 7:30-9 p.m. and Rococo Disco from 9-11 p.m
 
- Volleyball open play from 9 a.m.-noon
 - Donation-based outdoor yoga class by Alia Khan of Oak + Lotus Yoga at 10 a.m.
 - A farmers market featuring local vendors from 10 a.m.-2 p.m.
 - DJ sets from noon-2 p.m., Brian Scartocci from 3-4 p.m. and Jennifer Foster & The Audacity from 4:30-6 p.m.
 
Meanwhile Brewing will premiere five anniversary beers, including the Anniversary Barrel-Aged Birthday Cake Stout alongside collaborations with St. Elmo Brewing, ISM Brewing of California and Boulevard Brewing Co. in Kansas City.
Food trucks will serve the following special menu items:
- Pretzel Smashburger Sliders from Songbird Austin
 - Whole Goat BBQ from Distant Relatives on Saturday only
 - Birthday Sundae from Bésame
 
“When we opened Meanwhile, we wanted to build a place that felt like a true part of the Austin community, a space where people could come together, relax and celebrate everyday moments,” Will Jaquiss, co-founder and head brewer of Meanwhile Brewing Co., said in a news release. “Five years later, it is incredible to see how this community has grown with us.
