The South Austin bar and restaurant scene along Menchaca Road welcomed its newest establishment this week.

Lower 48 Bar + Eatery opened its doors for a soft opening on Dec. 18. Locally owned by Henry Ross, Ben Pezzi and Jordon Leger, the business serves alcohol and a food menu with salads, burgers, wings and sharable plates like crispy brussels sprouts and beer cheese queso. A kids' menu is also offered.
