Drinks Backyard, located at the old Pilot Knob Liquor Store, recently opened its indoor bar and outside patio for individuals 21 and older as it continues to expand its outdoor space.

The outdoor space will include a stage and covered lounge seating with a 14-foot TV and parking, and will be family and pet-friendly. Drinks Backyard currently features food from Smoking’ Brew-B-Q food truck. There will be more food trucks on the property in the coming months, according to a news release.

Sara Lupa, co-owner and longtime Austinite, said they wanted to create a fun and inviting space for the community.

“We truly love this neighborhood, and while this phase is just the beginning and a bit of work in progress, we’re opening our doors for anyone to come hang out and grab a drink inside while our backyard gets a makeover,” Lupa said in a news release.

Drinks Backyard offers a variety of cocktails, spritzers, margaritas and locally crafted beers. The bar has also partnered with Austin Roasting Company, which will offer a full coffee service daily.
