The Hawaiian-based restaurant has multiple locations throughout Texas, including in the San Antonio, New Braunfels, Plano, Houston and Katy areas.
According to Vice President of Operations Laurie Hatfield, they decided to open another location in Austin because of the demand.
"Our first store was in San Antonio, and people would drive from Austin to there," Hatfield said.
L&L Hawai'i sells Spam musubi, chicken katsu, barbecue chicken, kalua pork with cabbage, fried shrimp and more.
