Paloma Dining and Events

Paloma Dining and Events opened May 1 at 235 Sports Park Road, Dripping Springs. Paloma offers authentic Mexican food in an environment curated for family entertainment. Menu items include tacos, quesadillas and enchiladas. The restaurant also has a full-service bar, with over 50 types of tequila and offerings, including wine, beer, palomas, margaritas and cocktails. Drip Dental

Drip Dental opened May 22 at 136 Drifting Wind Run, Ste. 109, Dripping Springs. Drip Dental offers emergency dentistry, family and general dentistry, dental implements, oral surgery, teeth whitening, and cosmetic dentistry. Sugaring NYC

Sugaring NYC opened May 24 at 165 Hargraves Drive, Ste. 140, Austin, in the Belterra shopping center. Sugaring NYC is a waxing and lash studio that offers sugaring waxing, an alternative to hot wax that is made of sugar, lemon juice and water. Sunday Bookshop

Bookstore Sunday Bookshop opened June 22 at 28101 RR 12, Dripping Springs. Sunday Bookshop is owned by Dripping Springs native Dixie Frechette, and offers books, home decor, gifts and paper goods. It is the only bookstore currently open in Dripping Springs. Over 800 titles are offered, all organized by genre, including classics, nonfiction, romance, new releases and more. H-E-B

H-E-B opened its second store in the Dripping Springs area July 5 at 12021 W. Hwy. 290, Austin. The store is located at the former site of the Nutty Brown Cafe and Amphitheatre and is designed in honor of the historic amphitheater with memorabilia showcased in store, including guitars signed by Texas artists and red brick from the Nutty Brown food oven. www.heb.com
