Only four of the market’s 12 ZIP codes spent less time on the market, with decreases all under 18%.Out of the markets 12 ZIP codes, six saw the number of homes sold increase, while two did not change year over year and four saw increases, including over 100% in the 78702 ZIP code.
The number of closed sales in Central Austin decreased by 12.4% from March 2024 to March 2025.The median home price for Central Austin saw a slight increase, up 14.4% from last year. Only four of the market’s ZIP codes saw price decreases, all under 35%.In March 2025, a plurality of homes sold in Central Austin were in the $900,000 and over price range. This is similar to last month.
