Austin Board of Realtors. Additionally, the market saw a decrease in new home listings, while the average time spent on the market increased year over year by 37%.
The detailsMedian home sales prices increased in all but two of the market’s 12 ZIP codes—78723 and 78756. This is similar to
October 2024.
The average time spent on the market varied year over year by ZIP code. The 78752 and 78731 saw the largest increases while the 78722 ZIP code saw the largest decrease in time.
The number of homes sold in the market had slight changes year over year. The 78722 ZIP code saw the largest increase while only the 78703 ZIP code saw a decrease, which was 8.33%.
In November 2024, a plurality of homes sold in Central Austin were in the $900,000 and over price range. This is similar to
October's data.
