Central Texans can begin making donations that will contribute to this year’s Amplify Austin Day, an annual 24-hour event that encourages giving to local nonprofits.
What’s happening?
From Jan. 24 to March 7, donations can be made to the any of the participating Amplify Austin Nonprofits online. This includes a variety of local nonprofits focused on animals, the environment, the arts, children, veterans and more.
The details
Amplify Austin Day was founded in 2013 and has since raised $102.7 million for over 1,400 Central Texas nonprofits. Last year, the event raised a total of $9.9 million.
What’s next?
Amplify Austin Day 2024 will take place on March 6-7. Community members can make donations to nonprofits of choice within the 24-hour time frame online, from 6 to 6 p.m.
