The details
This event is expected to showcase more than 100 Travis County part-time and full-time positions. Roles include positions like accounting and finance, community and social services, court administration, engineering, maintenance, and public safety, according to a news release.
Department hiring managers and human resources representatives will be on-site to answer questions. Computers will also be available to help those interested start the application process.
Tatiana Wilcox, now a Travis County employee who attended a recent job fair, said talking to people at the event and booths opened her eyes to the opportunities available for her.
“You never know, there may be opportunities that you didn’t realize were available or you may get a different perspective from talking to someone in person as opposed to just reading it online. There’s a lot of people that can give you a lot of information, and they make it fun,” Wilcox said in a statement.
Parking will be available at the Eighth Street and Guadalupe Street parking garage. Attendees can validate parking at the job fair check-in booth.
