Red River Cultural District will present this annual two-day, multigenre music festival featuring live performances free and open to the public at multiple live music venues, comedy clubs and event venues in downtown Austin.City-Wide Vintage Sale

The City-Wide Vintage Sale at the Palmer Events Center will take place over two weekends in January. Attendees can shop from vendors selling vintage clothes, furniture, jewelry, home decor and more.

Family Day


The Umlauf Sculpture Garden & Museum will hold its first Family Day of the year with sculpture searches, crafts and more fun in the garden. The recurring event will take place once a month.Austin Bridal Extravaganza

Texas Weddings will be at the Palmer Events Center showcasing dresses, cakes, floral arrangements and more for brides-to-be and their parties to plan a wedding.‘Clue’

Texas Performing Arts Broadway in Austin will present “Clue,” the murder mystery comedy inspired by the Hasbro board game and adapted from the 1985 film, at Bass Concert Hall.Austin International Half Marathon

This half marathon, formerly known as the 3M Half Marathon, will start in North Austin and run downhill to end near the Capitol. Participants can also choose to run the marathon in a relay team.Austin MLK Celebration


Presented by the Austin Area Heritage Council and the city of Austin, the event begins with a march and rally starting at the Capitol. From there, marchers will walk to Huston-Tillotson University where there will be food vendors, a kids area with rides and games, live music and more.

Lunar New Year Festival


Presented by The Paper + Craft Pantry and Kathy Phantastic, the Lunar New Year Festival at Springdale General will have a vendor pop-up market, dances and performances, kids activities and more to celebrate the year of the snake.Jo’s Annual Chili Cook-Off


Hotel San José and Jo’s Coffee will team up to host their annual Chili Cook-Off to raise funds for Free Lunch, a local creatives collective that works to reduce food insecurity. The day will have chili-related festivities, live music and more. Chili-tasting wristbands will be available to purchase for $25.
