All Austin ISD offices and schools will be closed from July 1-5 in observance of Independence Day.

What it means

The closure will impact summer meal sites across the district. District offices and meal services will resume July 8.

To find a meal site the week of July 1-5 families can use the following resources:

Going forward

Throughout the summer, district offices and schools are closed Fridays. The AISD board of trustees will not meet in July, and adopted a fiscal year 2024-25 budget June 20.

AISD will return to a regular five-day work week July 29. The first day of school is Aug. 20.
