Teddy's, a new Southwestern-inspired eatery and bar, will open its doors in Austin later this fall.

The details

Teddy's will feature 80 seats split between an indoor space and an enclosed, temperature-controlled patio outside open year-round. The new restaurant was developed by chef and owner Daniel Berg and operating partner Dylan Salisbury, the pair behind Bill's Oyster downtown.

“We want Teddy’s to be a place where families and friends can come together, relax, and enjoy great food and drinks,” Berg said in a statement. "It’s a place for everyone, whether you’re stopping in for a casual weekday lunch or celebrating a special occasion."

Food offerings will blend Texas cuisine with other Southwestern and Mexican flavors, according to the restaurant team. The Blue Crab Tostada, Filet Mignon with Chile Relleno, Parker House Rolls with Cinnamon Ancho Butter and Texas Red Chili are among signature dishes on the menu.

At the bar, house cocktails including specialty martinis and frozen drinks will be served alongside a curated wine list.

Teddy's will begin serving dinner only, before expanding with breakfast, lunch and weekend brunch menus soon after launch.
