Tex-Mex restaurant Chuy’s will open its first East Austin location in the Mueller neighborhood next week.

On the menu

Chuy’s will serve a variety of Tex-Mex dishes, including:
  • “Big As Yo’ Face” Burritos with a choice of bean and cheese, roasted chicken or seasoned ground beef
  • Tacos served with Mexican rice and refried beans
  • Enchiladas each served with one of Chuy’s eight made-from-scratch sauces
  • Chicken or beef fajitas that are marinated in Shiner Bock beer, lime juice, serrano peppers and spices
Chuy’s also offers a variety of margaritas, mojitos, beer and wine.

What else?

Chuy’s Mueller will be consistent with other locations’ eclectic vibe, representatives said, with an Elvis Presley shrine, metal palm trees and a hand-carved wooden school of fish hanging overhead.
