After a year of collaboration between award-winning chef Steven McHugh and Hyatt Centric Congress Avenue Austin, officials announced dining concepts Las Bis and Luminaire are closed.

"My experience working with the teams at Luminaire and Las Bis was deeply rewarding," McHugh said in a news release. "Their dedication to bringing my culinary vision to life at these two establishments never wavered."

Harrison Compton, Hyatt Centric Congress Avenue Austin general manager, said he is ready to move "on to the next phase" of restaurant and bar concepts at the hotel, which will soon be announced.

McHugh said he is headed to San Antonio to serve as executive curating chef for the Spurs Club—a members-only social club and dining project at Victory Capital Performance Center.
