The Splash Station, a streetwear clothing store, expanded to its second location inside Supreme Cuts Barbershop. Father and son duo Juan Rojas Jr. and Kiko 44, launched their first location in Kyle four months ago.

A family affair

Inspiration for the stores came from 13-years-old Kiko 44 who has an interest in streetwear.

“He's always been into fashion, so I wanted to open up a business that me and him could collaborate on and work on together,” Rojas said.

What’s special about it?

The Splash Station carries popular brands like Bape, but also prioritizes selling garments from local Texas designers like Forever FRGN from Killeen. Rojas said that collaboration with local brands helps give them exposure and a sense of exclusivity for buyers.

“I think that's [why] people are gravitating toward us because we have a lot of designers that you can't just get anywhere,” Rojas said.

Next steps

Through their father-son partnership, Rojas and Kiko 44 hope to launch their own brand, Members Only, by the end of this year.
