Flame-seared sushi restaurant Aburi Oshi Sushi is now serving bites at the bar at Ellis, located at the Fareground Austin.

On the menu

Aburi Oshi Sushi joins over five eateries at the Congress Avenue food hall to offer a variety of menu items.

Menu items include the titular Aburi Oshi Sushi dish with wild sockeye salmon, shrimp and tuna options flame-seared with the restaurant’s Miku sauce, serrano pepper and black pepper. Other items include the California Roll, hamachi nachos, yellowtail and scallion temaki, and salmon and avocado temaki.

The Aburi Oshi Sushi in Austin uses traditional Japanese sushi-making techniques with the business’ proprietary sauces and flame-searing methods, according to a news release.
