Local pastry chef Amanda Rockman has opened her first solo coffee shop and bakery in East Austin.

Rockman Coffee + Bakeshop is now serving sweet and savory croissants, cookies, New York-inspired bagels and schmears, cakes and more at 2400 E. Cesar Chavez St., Ste. 200, Austin.

On the menu

Rockman, a James Beard Award-nominated pastry chef with 20 years of experience working in Michelin-star restaurants, has created a menu that features three variations of the classic croissant—filled, twice-baked and traditionally baked. Filled croissants include the churro croissant and lemon merengue croissant.
