A new Indian restaurant is now open on South Lamar Boulevard.

Tikka House Indian Eatery opened in what was previously Elementary, a pop, playful-themed global cuisine restaurant that closed its doors in August. The new restaurant is owned by Shekhar Niraj whose family also owns Tulsi Fine Indian Cuisine in Round Rock.

The restaurant serves dishes from North and South India as well as Indo-Chinese dishes like paneer chili and Hakka noodles.
