The Bouldin Creek neighborhood restaurant 1417 French Bistro shuttered its doors at the end of May, which was announced via social media.

An Instagram story from the restaurant stated, "[May 30] was the last night ... huge shoutout to our insanely awesome staff, lovely vendors and loyal guests."

The restaurant was owned by Allison Welsh and offered a raw bar of oysters and caviar, blue cheese beignets, duck confit Benedict, and other French specialties.

The closure comes as the land is up for sale, and a note on the door states the building will be redeveloped to make way a new project called Bouldin Creek Lofts; however, representatives did not respond for comment as of press time.
