Cuvée Coffee is closing its doors in East Austin, and will continue operating from its storefront in the Rainey District downtown.

Cuvée offers an international assortment of coffee beans sold individually or through subscriptions, and serves a variety of coffee and other drinks from its coffee bar.

Cuvée's history stretches back to the late 1990s, when owner Mike McKim launched the coffee roasting business with beans sourced from around the world. After distributing products locally for years, Cuvée eventually settled into the space on East Sixth Street that's now shutting down after a decade due to a rent increase.

The craft coffee roaster will maintain its space at 48 East Ave., Austin following the east side closure.
