Bandit Tacos food truck opened July 4 at 2610 Main St., Buda. Their hours of operation are Thursday-Sunday from 8 a.m.-7 p.m.

Owner John Earls started the food truck with his wife, Rocio. He said so far, business has been good.

Bandit Tacos is most known for its Frito Bandito, which Earls said is their take on the Frito pie. It has homemade green chile queso, house-pickled jalapeños and chipotle and avocado crema with the option to add meat. Bandit Tacos also serves street tacos; breakfast tacos in the mornings, with a sweet and spicy glaze on the bacon; and traditional American tacos with a twist. 512-748-3932. www.bandittacos.com
