Amazon, the online retailing giant, has leased a 370,840-square-foot facility at Kyle Crossing Business Park, 1980 Kohlers Crossing, where it will be opening a sortation center in late 2020.
The new Amazon center is projected to create over 200 jobs in the city of Kyle, according to a July 21 press release.
Kyle Crossing Business Park is a 40-acre business park developed and owned by Majestic Realty Co. The business park is one block west of I-35 in the mixed-use master-planned community Plum Creek.
Amazon also announced plans to open a new delivery station at Park 35, 2956 Main St., Buda, and Round Rock.
The retail giant will also be opening a new fulfillment center in Pflugerville in 2021, bringing 1,000 new full-time jobs to the city.
