Erik Granjeno has been appointed as Hays County's new human resources director, overseeing various county activities involving employees, applicants and citizens, according to a March 14 news release.

Granjeno attended Texas State University for a year before completing his education at Western Governors University in Utah. A first-generation college graduate, he earned a Bachelor of Science in human resources management and later a Master of Science in management and leadership, according to the release.
