His official start date will be Jan. 13, according to the news release.

In his role at HNTB, Trimble provided leadership for transportation agency organization improvements, facilities planning, bond program development and interagency coordination initiatives for Hays and Williamson counties and the Texas Department of Transportation Capital Express Central Programs, according to the news release.
Trimble also served over 16 years as an executive with the city of Austin. He has experience in multimodal transportation programs, long-range planning and federal funding strategy development, the news release states.
