New and re-elected Buda City Council members were sworn in during the Nov. 19 City Council meeting.

Re-elected Council Member Lee Urbanovsky, who was unopposed for the at-large Position 1 seat in the fall 2019 election, was also voted in as the new mayor pro tem. Urbanovsky takes over from former Mayor Pro Tem Wiley Hopkins, who decided not to run for re-election.

Hopkins' single-member District C seat will be filled by Terry Cummings, who ran against Jeffrey K. Morales and won with 63.73% of the vote.
