The details
The eight-story, 168,000-square-foot building will house the mathematics and computer science departments, according to a news release. The architects on the project are PGAL and Ayers Saint Gross.
The STEM building will have lab space for research and classrooms as well as departmental offices.
The classrooms will be equipped with modern technology to support “interactive and engaging learning experiences,” the news release states. The new facility will also help support undergraduate and graduate student research.
Looking ahead
The building is expected to be operational by fall 2026, according to a news release.
