A total of 409 people voted early in the SMCISD elections, and 403 people voted early in the HCISD elections.
According to Elections Administrator Jennifer Anderson, the county had 123,447 registered voters as of the registration cut-off date of April 23.
Early voting began April 23 and ended Tuesday. Election Day is Saturday. Polls are open from 7 a.m.-7 p.m. On Election Day, citizens must vote at the polling location of their single-member school district.
Two incumbent candidates, Anne Halsey and John McGlothlin, are running to keep their at-large seats on the SMCISD school board. A third candidate, James McCutcheon, is also running.
In HCISD, Bert Bronaugh Jr. is running to keep his District 3 trustee seat and is running against Michael Sanchez and Valerie Hopkins.
Holly Raymond’s at-large seat is being vacated, and three candidates—Will McManus, Susan Gray and Michelle Cohen—are hoping to fill it.
