Vice President of CLD Realty Ryder Jeanes said Christus Health, Jersey Mike’s, Starbucks and Chipotle have already signed contracts to set up their businesses in the spaces.
Long View Equity associate Daniel Fricks said vertical construction will likely start as soon as the end of this month or next month.
The apartment complex is called The Springs.
Fricks noted the idea of the development is to “live, work, play in a 24-acre master-planned community.”
“We’re hoping that the community will really enjoy the center, having a bunch of different amenity-like tenants in there. The idea is that we want to draw in people to live in these apartments, and we think having Starbucks and Jersey Mike’s and Chipotle and potentially a dentist or something else within walking distance could be a big draw to get people to come to the apartments,” Fricks said.
The project is being phased out and will begin with two buildings along I-35, which are expected to be completed by the first quarter of next year.
