Macy’s to move distribution center from Houston to Tomball


Tomball City Council approved a Tomball Economic Development Corp. agreement with Macy’s Inc. on Feb. 7 for the company to relocate its distribution center to the Lovett Industrial development at the Grand Parkway and Rocky Road in southern Tomball.

Velvet Taco opens in The Woodlands

According to the company, the fast-casual taco restaurant offers over 20 different varieties of tacos inspired by international cuisine as well as sides and desserts.

Firebirds Wood Fired Grill to open on Valentine’s Day in Alliance area of Fort Worth


Firebirds Wood Fired Grill will hold the grand opening for its new location in the Alliance area at 2900 Amador Drive in Fort Worth on Valentine’s Day, according to the restaurant’s website.
