In response to the recent increase in new coronavirus case counts in Hays County, the San Marcos Parks and Recreation Department has canceled the Summer Fun and Discovery camps.

Both camps had sessions scheduled to start July 13, but these programs are now canceled for the year, according to a June 22 press release from the city.

Individuals who had previously registered for the summer programs will be notified and will receive a full refund. For more information, call 512-393-8400 or visit the city’s website.
