State Rep. Erin Zwiener announced May 14 that she will be distributing face masks at farmers' markets in San Marcos and Buda on May 16 and 17.

The first round of masks will be distributed by Zwiener on May 16 at the San Marcos farmer's market at the Hays County Historic Courthouse from 10 a.m.-noon, according to a May 14 press release.

Following her appearance in San Marcos, Zwiener will be at the Buda farmers market May 17 handing out masks at 308 S. Main St. by the parking lot passing Nate’s from 10 a.m.-noon.

Zwiener has distributed masks to local community organizations throughout Texas House District 45, including Hays County Food Bank, Hays County Health Department, Wimberley Crisis Bread Basket, Johnson City High School, LBJ Medical Center,
Blanco County Community Resource Center and Dripping Springs Helping Hands.

Additional mask distributions are scheduled in Kyle, Hays Caldwell Women’s Center, Hays CISD and more, according to the release.
