Hangry Joe’s Hot Chicken & Wings is now open across from Texican Cafe at 920 Kohlers Crossing, Ste. 500, Kyle.
This is the second Hangry Joe’s location in Hays County. The Virginia-based chain opened a San Marcos location in 2023.
A grand opening special is planned for April 26, Kyle franchise owner Brandon Wilhelm told Community Impact in an email. Customers who make a purchase in the Hangry Joe’s app and the first 100 people in line with the app downloaded can receive a free entree.
Hangry Joe’s serves Nashville-style hot chicken sandwiches, wings, wraps, chicken fingers, chicken and waffles and more. The hot chicken comes in varying spice levels: no seasoning, mild, medium and hot. The hottest level, Angry Hot, requires a signed waiver to order.
