The restaurant concept—owned by Gilberto and Rosario Amillano—will serve from-scratch tacos, seafood, ceviche and more.
The food truck opened at 420 University Drive, San Marcos on Nov. 16. Gilberto Amillano said the brick-and-mortar location will open in the spring of 2025.
Amillano said their brick-and-mortar location will also have a sushi bar.
"But this sushi bar is totally different than Japanese [sushi]," Amillano added, noting that Sea Barra will be using sauces from Baja Sinaloa.
