Locally owned by Madison Shipp, the coffee house serves coffee, tea, refreshers and lemonade. Hays City Hideout Coffee House also offers a selection of pastries, such as kolaches, cupcakes and loaves.
"I wanted to create a place that locals could come back to," Shipp said.
