Layne’s Chicken Fingers, a restaurant based in College Station, Texas, is slated to open a San Marcos location this winter.

The chicken restaurant first opened in College Station in 1994. Since then, franchises have opened in Dallas-Fort Worth and Houston areas as well as some other U.S. cities. Noah Kara, a Houston native, is the owner of the San Marcos location. He also plans to open more Layne's locations throughout the Austin area.

Layne’s Chicken Fingers serves chicken finger meals, sandwich combos, wraps and milkshakes. The business also offers catering.
