Steger's Chiffonade closed its brick-and-mortar, located at 700 N. LBJ Dr., Ste. 102b, in San Marcos on July 1.

The catering company was owned by Pamela Steger, and offered weekly food deliveries. Steger's Chiffonade had weekly menus for customers to choose from and meal delivery services, according to Steger's website.

Steger said the economy was "too rough" right now, and that they were unable to keep up.

She will continue to do catering on the side but from a different kitchen at this time, Steger told Community Impact.
