The Cozy Corner will also be used as a kid-friendly, members-only coworking space during the day throughout the week. Individuals who are interested in becoming members of the coworking space will be expected to pay a one-time fee and fill out an application. There will also be day passes available.

Sunfield Hand Pies


Locally owned by Linda Rivera, the food truck located in front of the Buda H-E-B serves Puerto Rican-inspired hot empanadas with fillings that include beef, potato, spinach, cheese and other options. The garden has 35 garden plots and includes a handful of ADA-accessible garden tables. The community garden is equipped with a greenhouse, tool shed, pergola, picnic tables and benches. Em Dash Books

Em Dash Books has temporarily relocated to The Carrington in Buda on June 26, after closing the doors to its brick-and-mortar location on June 11. The indie bookstore—owned by Lola Watson—was previously located at 200 S. Main St. in Buda and closed to “insure the long-term sustainability” of the bookstore, Watson stated in a social media post.Money’s PlayHouse

The home-based daycare in Kyle will open its first brick-and-mortar daycare in South Austin in August. Madeline and Marvin Mack Jr. own and operate the daycare out of their home near Lehman High School. Money’s PlayHouse offers all-day care for infants to children up to three years old.
