The Tex-Mex restaurant will be opening in Kyle, according to a filing with the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation. Construction is scheduled to begin in August and be completed next May. According to its website, the restaurant serves an assortment of appetizers along with nachos, tacos, enchiladas, fajitas and more. Lupe Tortilla also offers seafood and vegetarian options.Brake Check

According to a Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation filing, construction began in April and will be completed in January. A site plan from Endeavor Real Estate Group shows Brake Check will be located in front of Crunch Fitness at the Amberwood Ranch retail center. Brake Check offers brake repair services, oil changes and alignments.In the news

Starbucks

The Starbucks located at 22449 I-35 in Kyle reopened April 15 after temporarily closing March 30 to undergo renovations. A Starbucks spokesperson said the store received the renovations to ensure it was meeting the needs of its customers.Closings


Louie’s NY Sammies

Louie's NY Sammies left its fixed spot on Main Street in Buda at the end of March after opening in August. Owner Lindsay Goff said the lease ended, so the New York deli-style food truck is now doing pop-ups and events.
