McCoy’s Building Supply celebrated the groundbreaking for its new company retreat expansion at its headquarters campus in San Marcos on March 8.

The retreat area will be approximately 11,531 square feet, and be equipped with outdoor meeting spaces and walking trails for employees.

President and CEO Meagan McCoy Jones said the new retreat space would support the company’s relational leadership training.

“This expansion will allow McCoy’s to have a first-class corporate campus. It’s a significant investment in assuring our future as a San Marcos-based business that would have been impossible without the support of the city of San Marcos, both elected officials and city staff,” Jones said in a news release.

The project is slated to be completed in 2025.
