Dino Jiu Jitsu opened Feb. 17.

The studio is locally owned by Tim Nicolls, Marie Ellensohn, David Gibson and Joel Adan.

Marie Ellensohn said Dino Jiu Jitsu is family oriented, which makes them standout.

"Our intention here is to have a strong community presence," Ellensohn said.

The gym offers a range of jiujitsu classes for those age 3 or older and caters to all skill levels from beginner to advanced. Ellensohn also noted that Dino Jiu Jitsu is building a women's program.
