Color Me Royal, a locally owned hair salon, relocated from Sola Salon Studios in Southpark Meadows shopping mall to downtown Kyle in the beginning of November.

The salon, which is family-owned by Lisa Perez and her husband, Arturo Perez, offers hair color, cuts, keratin treatments, facial waxing and perms.

Lisa Perez has been a hair stylist for 13 years and said owning her own salon has been a dream of hers. She also emphasized wanting to make people comfortable in her salon.

"I want people to feel welcome," Lisa Perez said.
