Virginia-based Hangry Joe's Hot Chicken is opening soon in San Marcos.

The Hangry Joe's San Marcos Hot Chicken franchise location is owned by Wimberley resident Mark Dalton and will serve Nashville-style hot chicken sandwiches and wings, chicken fingers, chicken waffles, and more. The restaurant also offers an assortment of sides, including chicken bites, loaded fries, and loaded mac and cheese.

Dalton said Hangry Joe's San Marcos will hold a grand opening event after Thanksgiving.
