Rachel McCartney, owner of Old Soul Exchange said Annie Flores, owner of Blue Jay Vintage, is a current vendor at the vintage shop with a niche for vintage books.
"We're [going to] set it up like a little, mini bookstore where you can shop by category," McCartney said.
Blue Jay Books will sell a variety of vintage paperbacks, coffee table books, magazines, true crime, horror and more.
McCartney noted that the town has not had a bookstore since Half Price Books closed in 2022.
"I know there's some little nooks in certain shops and stuff but this is [going to] be a spot where I feel like the students could come and find stuff for assignments, where folks could come and find that next good book to read," she said.
