Children's Lighthouse is planning to open a location soon in Kyle. The preschool accepts up to 220 children, starting at 6 weeks old and offering after-school programs for children up to 12 years old.

The business has started formal registration and has spaces available for age 3 and up, owner Brad Fink said. Full-time student tuition ranges from $320-$300 weekly. The preschool also offers two- or three-day part-time programs for age 3 and up ranging from $180-$230 weekly. The business is open from 6:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. and provides all meals and snacks for students.

The preschool offers a curriculum for its students ages 2-5 that is centered around character-building values, active engagement and skills based on national and state benchmarks, among other goals.
