Tree Lighting and Drone Show
Hutto’s historic downtown will be decorated for the holidays when the traditional tree lighting event takes place. There will also be a festive drone show following the lighting.

From Dec. 5 through 29 on Thursday through Sunday, Hutto’s Adam Orgain Park will offer an interactive trail experience with light displays. In lieu of entry fees, the city encourages guests to bring canned good donations.

The city of Round Rock will host its annual Light Up The Lake event at Old Settlers Park. The event features a light show, giant balloons hovering over Bright Lake, live music, holiday displays, holiday food and refreshments, crafts and other activities.

Georgetown’s annual Christmas Stroll will be held in the city’s Downtown Square. The event includes live entertainment, vendors, children’s activities and a parade.

Adults are invited to the Hutto Hippo Claus Crawl to stroll around downtown Hutto in seasonal sweaters and Santa suits. A variety of craft drinks will be available at over 20 beverage stops.

Santa Claus will stop by Kalahari Resorts & Conventions in Round Rock for a holiday breakfast. The event will feature a build-your-own omelet station, glazed ham, fresh-cut fruit, a waffle station and more. The event will also include live music, kids activities, a hot cocoa bar and special visit with Santa. A full bar will also be available.

The city of Round Rock will host a Christmas tree recycling event at the Round Rock Brush Recycling Center. Residents must remove all decorations, light, tinsel and tree stands before bringing trees to the recycling center. Small tree seedlings—one per vehicle—will also be distributed while supplies last.
