The Round Rock area has a variety of events taking place through the end of September and into early November, including the opening show of a new community theater, an art festival and multiple concerts. Check out these 9 events below:

1. Big Show Reception

Round Rock Arts will host a reception for its Big Show exhibit, which will be located in the Avery Building at Texas State University at Round Rock campus. The exhibit will showcase a wide range of mediums and feature over 100 pieces of large art by local artists.2. Kalahari Food & (Not Just) Wine Festival

Kalahari Resorts & Conventions in Round Rock will host its annual festival showcasing the resort’s dining options as well as local and national beverage brands. The event will include cooking demonstrations, live entertainment, raffles and a silent auction.3. Round Rock Arts Fest

The annual festival, formerly known as Chalk Walk, will feature hundreds of artists, vendors and musicians. The three-day event, to be held at Centennial Plaza in Downtown Round Rock, will showcase a variety of fine art, crafts, chalking and theatrical performances.

4. “I’m Proud of You”


Penfold Theatre Company will present, “I’m Proud of You,” based on the best-selling book about Fred Rogers, the TV host of “Mister Rogers’ Neighborhood.” This will be the first performance to be held at the new community theater.5. Deutschen Pfest

The city of Pflugerville will hold its 48th Deutschen Pfest at Pfluger Park. The festival to celebrate German culture features shopping booths, live music, a stein holding contest, a pretzel eating contest and other activities.

6. Halloween 5K Fun Run & Family Festival

Local nonprofit organization Team Brock will host a 5K fun run to raise money for pediatric brain cancer research and medical trials. Guests are encouraged to come dressed in Halloween costumes. The event will also feature carnival games, a petting zoo, face painting and other activities.7. Fall Fun Festival

The annual event by the Round Rock Parks and Recreation Department is a chance for toddlers and preschoolers to dress in Halloween costumes and enjoy family activities. Guests are also encouraged to bring a canned good to donate to the Round Rock Food Pantry.8. 1214 YAR Music Festival


An Asian music festival will be held at the Round Rock Amp. A variety of musicians will perform, including Agnez Mo, Justin Park, KIRE, North Star Boys and more. The event will also feature a night market with a range of food vendors.

9. Tracy Lawrence with Jack Ingram

The country music singers will perform at the Round Rock Amp. For every ticket sold, $1 will go to Mission Possible, a nonprofit organization meant to address homelessness.
