Round Rock Arts will host a reception for its Big Show exhibit, which will be located in the Avery Building at Texas State University at Round Rock campus. The exhibit will showcase a wide range of mediums and feature over 100 pieces of large art by local artists.

Penfold Theatre Company will present, “I’m Proud of You,” based on the best-selling book about Fred Rogers, the TV host of “Mister Rogers’ Neighborhood.” This will be the first performance to be held at the new community theater.

The city of Pflugerville will hold its 48th Deutschen Pfest at Pfluger Park. The festival to celebrate German culture features shopping booths, live music, a stein holding contest, a pretzel eating contest and other activities.

Local nonprofit organization Team Brock will host a 5K fun run to raise money for pediatric brain cancer research and medical trials. Guests are encouraged to come dressed in Halloween costumes. The event will also feature carnival games, a petting zoo, face painting and other activities.

The annual event by the Round Rock Parks and Recreation Department is a chance for toddlers and preschoolers to dress in Halloween costumes and enjoy family activities. Guests are also encouraged to bring a canned good to donate to the Round Rock Food Pantry.
